Gloria Paredes maintains a variety of civil matters with a focus in Construction Law, Surety Law, Corporate Law, and Mechanic’s Lien Law. Gloria handles mechanic’s liens, performance and payment bond claims, corporate formation, bankruptcy filings, contract claims, among other construction matters.

Gloria assists clients with FOIA, wage and hour, prevailing wage laws, compliance programs, and helping clients from the initial start-up of HUBZone, SDVOB, WOMB, MBE, WBD, DBE and 8a certifications.

Gloria is bilingual (English/Spanish) and has worked with a variety of clients, including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties, and engineers in public and private litigation and contract disputes.

Gloria grew up in New York and moved to Georgia and Ecuador before relocating to Virginia to pursue her higher education. Gloria attended George Mason University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Government and International Politics and George Mason University School of Law where she obtained her JD. Gloria is admitted and licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.

In her spare time, Gloria enjoys volunteering for charitable organizations.
